Islamorada is famous for it’s many bars. While visiting Islamorada be sure to spend some time sampling a bunch of them, each with their own unique history. Morada Bay Beach Café
A popular restaurant for lunch and dinner where you can dine on the beach. Colorful wooden table are scattered along a sandy beach overlooking the bay. At sunset they offer live entertainment and cocktails. Once a month, on the full moon they host the “Full Moon Party” that draws a huge crowd of locals and tourists to dance in the sand. They light bonfires, open up extra bars and bring in lots of bands. A must-see if you are in the keys during a full moon.

The Safari Lounge
This out-of-the-way bar is known to locals as the “Dead Animal Bar”. It is located at the Caloosa Cove Marina and features hunting trophies from the owner’s various safari trips around the world. It’s got a bit of a Polynesian vibe going, although you won’t find any fruity umbrella cocktails here.
