SEA CAMP
Sea Camp on big Pine Key began in 1966 and emphasizes marine exploration and conservation. Camp activities include sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing and arts & crafts. The mission of the camp is to create awareness of the complex and fragile marine world and to foster critical thinking and informed decision making about man’s use of natural resources. The camp is open to children ages 12 -17. There are four 18-day sessions each summer.

PAL CAMP KEY WEST
The Police Athletic League Kids camp is located at the Horace O’Bryant Middle School in Key West. This camp runs weekly al summer long. Activities include arts & crafts, weekly field trips to the bowling alley, pool, movie theater and beach. Campers should bring their own lunch. The cost of the camp is $130 per week, plus a one-time registration fee of $25 per child.

COAST CAMP KEY WEST
Get ready for a summer full of skinned knees, dirty clothes, untied laces and sun-kissed faces at COAST Camp where we introduce the kids to timeless skills and life lessons that will prove priceless as they grow up by the coast. Each day, campers will focus on a different, but integral theme that can be used at home, on the beach, or out at sea. The lessons are completely hands-on, are rooted in traditional techniques and are sure to keep them involved and engaged throughout. Topics and lessons include everything from survival and skateboarding, to boating and beating drums, to tree climbing and beach combing.

KEY WEST SAILING CAMP
The Key West Community Sailing Center will be offering a Youth Summer Sailing camp for student ages 6-17. The cost of the week-long session is $250. There will be ten week-long sessions. Camp takes place Monday – Friday from 9am until 4pm each day. There are 3 class levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Adventure Sailing.

REEF RELIEF CORAL CAMP
Children 6 -12 years of age explore and learn about our surrounding marine environment through exciting educational activities at the Reef Relief Environmental Center in Key West. Each fun-packed day, campers will experience hands-on learning, interactive games and field trips. Field trips include trips to the Key West Marine Park, the Key West Aquarium, and the living coral reef!
Each weekly session is limited to 25 campers. Coral Camp runs Monday – Friday from 8:30am- 4:30pm. Camp fees are $225/week. There is a multi-week and sibling discount of $200/week/child.

SWIM WITH THE DOLPHINS SUMMER CAMP
Dolphin Kids is our weeklong marine science summer camp for kids ages 6 -10, hosted at our beautiful Dolphins Plus Bayside facility. Campers learn about all sorts of subjects, from local ecosystem ecology to dolphin communication and behavior. Best of all, our dolphin camp makes learning fun through hands-on science activities, marine mammal lessons and shows, behind the scenes tours, and coastal exploration!

REEF ENVIROMENTAL EDUCATION CAMP
The Reef Environmental Education Foundation hosts three week-long sessions for children ages 7 to 13. Activities include snorkel trips to the coral reef, kayaking on trails through mangroves, meeting animals, and marine-science experiments and crafts.
Two sessions will be held at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, mile marker 102.5 oceanside in Key Largo: June 19 to 23 and July 17-21. An Islamorada session based at Postcard Inn Beach Resort and Marina, mile marker 84 oceanside, July 31 to Aug. 4.
Cost is $300 for the five-day sessions and includes park entry fees, activity expenses, equipment rentals and REEF gear including a T-shirt and water bottle. An optional box lunch is available for an additional $50.

THE UPPER KEYS SAILING CAMP
The Upper Keys Sailing Club has its Mark Sorensen Youth Sailing weekly camps June 12 through Aug. 4 at the club, 100 N. Ocean Bay Drive (mile marker 100).
It’s for kids ages 7 to 17 and limited to 12 spots per session. Drop-off begins at 8:30 a.m. and pick up is no later than 3:30 p.m. Sailing and water activities on Buttonwood Sound are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $265 per youth and lunch is not included.
Kids should bring rash-guard shirt, Crocs or water booties, sun block, bug repellant, hat, sunglasses, snacks, a life jacket, towel, change of clothes, snorkel and mask, and water toys. iPads, iTouch, headphones and other electronic devices are not allowed. Cell phones must be kept in backpacks.
