Robbie’s is THE place to take your kids. It is a keys tradition. They are famous for their docks where visitors can feed the giant Tarpons. There is a school of more than 100 tarpon that linger around the docks waiting for a handout. Admission to the dock is just $1 per person, and each bucket of fish is $3.
But feeding the Tarpon is just the beginning, there is much more to do. Take one of Robbie’s Island Heritage Tours, it’s a perfect way to experience the raw beauty and wonder of the Florida State Parks. Board the 43 foot happy cat and embark on an adventure. Visit historic Indian and Lignumvitae keys. A very interesting 2.5 hour tour. After the tour purchase souvenirs at the Twisted Tarpon gift shop and enjoy lunch or dinner at the Hungry Tarpon restaurant.
Want to go out fishing. You can book fishing charters here. Want to venture out on your own? They also rent boats, kayaks and Jet-skis. Want to go snorkeling? You can do that too. Robbie’s location is close to some of the best fishing and snorkeling spots in all the keys.
Be sure and put Robbie’s on your list of things to see and do.
